Compelling. It best describes the final chapter which culminates in one of the 21 iconic films from Marvel Cinematic Universe. And it also explains, for the last time, the joy of seeing your favorite superheroes come together for a special purpose.Directors Anthony and Joe Russo ensure they will not get the best of the humongous build-up and the tsunami of expectations. They provide a relatively safe product, full of moments filled with action, emotion, humor and drama.Also if you haven't been watching the show, the authors Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely take you along. In the script they do an excellent job of combining feelings in visual spectacles. And if you're not a fan yet, chances are, after watching this instalment, you might become one.The action is slowly becoming intense but never overbearing. It remains, in fact, important and true to the story, and it weaves in ample opportunities for big plot twists that even the diehard fans may not see coming. Also in 2D, the extensive CGI work contributes to the visual appeal.
The insightful tone of the film might often come across as a pace breaker for the non-fans, but for the fans, the same invokes hope and anticipation, leading to frequent gasps and howls.Overall, 'Avengers: Endgame' is a fitting homage to the Fictional Universe, which has spawned superheroes and super fans of greater than life. 'Endgame' delivers on all of its signature promises at three hours plus, leaving its fans with a variety of emotions and fond memories.
